All papers to be published in 'IGEE Proceedings' must go through a review process. Upon receipt, manuscripts are assigned with reviewers from the respective fields, with each paper evaluated by one or more reviewers. Based on the collective opinions of the reviewers, a decision is made regarding the publication status (accepted, revision required, or rejected), and papers requiring revisions are encouraged to enhance their completeness. The Editorial Board determines the publication status based on review results.

2. Reviewers
Reviewers are primarily selected from among the editorial board members. If the submitted paper falls within a unique area and there is no suitable person among the existing editorial board members, the Editor-in-Chief may appoint an expert who is not a member of the editorial board to conduct the review.
Given the interdisciplinary nature of this proceeding, the reviewers are required to include at least one expert from a field other than the specific area of expertise to ensure a broader perspective.
3. Review Fee
The review fee is determined in consultation with the editorial board and steering committee.
4. Review Procedure
- 1) The paper review process consists of three stages: 1st review (Editor review) → 2nd review (Peer review) → 3rd review (Editorial Board decision).
- 2) The Editor-in-Chief reviews the title, structure, and content of the submitted paper to assess its suitability according to the submission regulations. If the paper is deemed unsuitable by the editor, it may not be accepted for review. Upon the 1st review (desk review), peer review request should be issued for the submitted paper.
- 3) For papers selected to undergo the 2nd review, the Editor-in-Chief consults the opinions of the editorial board members and assigns one or two reviewers for the 2nd review. The 2nd review results are categorized into three types: "Accepted for publication," "Revision required before publication," or "Not accepted for publication."
- ① Papers that receive the judgment of "Accepted for publication" or "Revision required before publication" are sent the review results with a request for revision.
- ② For papers judged as "Revision required before publication," the authors are asked to make the necessary revisions based on the comments provided by the reviewers. The Editor-in-Chief then requests a judgment from the reviewers on whether the revisions have been adequately addressed.
- ③ The final decision on publication is made by the Editor-in-Chief based on the judgments of the reviewers.
